ABOUT
My creative roots
go back to my childhood, to my father and
mother. They where a great cheerleading team for all my creative
adventures and where a vibrant creative duo as well.
My father was a
cabinet maker and played the viola in the symphony. Every Sunday
afternoon was spent at a Winnipeg Symphony, concert. My mother was
an expert at recycling and repurposing old cast offs. She loved to
sew, cook, quilt and knit, creating a home filled with homemade
goodness.
I
grew up surrounded by love, support and the freedom needed to grow
and thrive creatively, appreciating the gifts of music, color, and
handmade.
These days I am happy to say that life, for me, is spilling over
with goodness and that my creative closet is full.
